[Example] Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies

These perfectly golden-brown cookies are my go-to when I have guests! Perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. Impossible to have just one!

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter, room temp
  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 1 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, at room temp
  • 2 tbsp milk, at room temp



  1. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl.

  2. Whisk the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract together until combined. Pour into dry ingredients and mix everything together until completely combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  3. Form cookie dough balls, roughly 1 tbsp of dough per cookie.

  4. (Optional) For thicker cookies, cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (191°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.

  2. Arrange on baking sheet, at least a few inches apart. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown on top.

  3. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 4 minutes before transferring to a wire rack or cold plate.
